Kevin Yolken

Kevin Yolken, once wheelchair bound from a skiing accident is now ready to give back. With the help of Biking for a Better World, he is going to ride his bike from Seattle to San Diego with his good friend Chelsea Laswell.

Chelsea Laswell

Chelsea is a 23-year-old life enthusiast who for the past 4 years has been working hard on the NCAA skiing circuit as a full-scholarship athlete pursuing both her athletic dreams and collegiate education. In December 2009, she graduated with honors from the University of Utah with a degree in Urban Planning. About 5 years ago she got into cycling as a means of cross training for ski racing, and for years she has been wanting to ride across the country. Unfortunately, with skiing being her number 1 priority, all of her other dreams had to be pushed aside but now in April 2010, Kevin and Chelsea will embark upon their journey with the world at our tips.
