The most important thing in life is to never forget the ones that have shared insight into the future.

There are so many people embracing your impact on this day, wish we could be blessing Jah together right now in person.

I have flown across the country today and I believe I got close to the sky to High Five you.

Nothing but positive thoughts coming from this solider, thank you for the clear vision you have given to me.

All I know, is All I can give back to this world is in the form of a High Five. Sharing a little bit of you with each one.

Immediate Press Release: RIP CR Johnson

Friday, March 5th, 2010

Immediate Press Release:
RIP Charles Russell Johnson,
CR Johnson was born out of open minded free loving parents Rusty and Lorraine. Pushed out into a hot summer night in Truckee California, August 10th 1983, CR was born good and born screaming. When one looks up perseverance in the dictionary there ought to be a picture of CR pushing a walker learning to take baby steps after suffering a ski accident in 2005. This ski accident left him in a coma for two weeks with major brain injuries. Now compare that to the next photo less then 2 years later of him shooting out of West Face on KT at Squaw Valley. He was dedicated and inspiring. CR appreciated his family, friends and a powder day. He rode the positive choo choo train and was accepting of all people. Curious and open minded when it came to folks who had beliefs that were not his own. Son, brother, friend and 100% lover. He loved to love and loved to ski. Loved to sit down and work on his sewing machine. Loved to wear that green jacket! Proud lion, free spirit, shooting star!

Money being donated in the name of CR Johnson is going to the High Fives Non-Profit Foundation to setup a fund that will help to continue the legacy of CR Johnson in the winter sports community.
………………………………..

High Fives  is a Tahoe-based non-profit that provides money to athletes that have suffered a life-altering injury to help with the offset costs of medical bills, alternative medicine, and adaptive equipment. The goals of this foundation match perfectly with CR’s philosophy and with what the Johnson family feels is important in an athlete’s recovery. The money will be used to setup a scholarship fund in the name of CR Johnson that will managed by friends of the Johnson family and Kahlil Johnson.
