High Fives Foundation hosted our annual 3,000 Words event at 50-50 Brewery in Truckee, California. An evening celebrating local photography and philanthropy, with a silent auction and music by the Silver Boombox Thief.
April 10, 2010. It's greybird at Sugarbowl Ski Area, CA. No matter, the train is destined to show. That's right, High Fives Foundation shows up like the mailman, rain, sleet or snow. They're not here for themselves, but for what you cannot see, similar to a sealed letter. It's time once again to gather the best in ski talent and philanthropy to raise money and awareness. This year there is a message to deliver that reigns supreme to that of any other news, CR Johnson is within us regardless of the news that was delivered 43 days prior as to his passing. The message is as strong and prolific as he was.
Trains, High Five's premier on-hill freestyle ski event is now in its third year and growth is evident. The feature is above and beyond the best yet, the talent is stacked and the camaraderie is unparalleled. The event is unlike any other, celebrating skiing, hot wings, music, and life. High Fives has secured the position as the premier carrier for hope and positivity within the ski community and beyond and the message is clear; it's not a matter of whether they'll deliver, but when.

Simply put, the Squaw Valley Prom is the best party of the year. This year's theme was Gold, Silver & Bronze, with music by The Silver Boombox Thief and the world-renouned Mike Realm. Check out some snapshots on our media page.
This fall, our friends at UnofficialSquaw.com threw a party to celebrate the launch of their new website and the oncoming winter. The event was also a fundraiser for High Fives, and we were there in full force. Check out the photos at UnofficialSquaw.com
In the fall of 2009 hosted a University of Vermont alumni party at Fifty Fifty Brewing Company, with a showing of Meathead Films' Wild Stalions and a perfomance from The Silver Boombox Thief.
High Fives hosted a bocce ball tournament fundraiser, with a great turnout from the community and snowsports industry, this event is one you don't want to miss.
A fundraiser for High Fives, Biking for a Better World and Charitysmith, 3000 words showcased some of the best photographers in the Tahoe area.
