Five for Fives Partnership Program Launched!

As we continue leveraging the success of our marketing, branding, and marquee fundraising events, the High Fives Foundation has developed a system of collaborative partnership opportunities for like-minded businesses that believe in our mission. We’ve chosen five proven strategies from previous collaborations that have seen the best return on investment for partner businesses and the High Fives Foundation.

In the first quarter of 2014, the following companies have supported the High Fives Foundation through the Five for Fives program:

bigtruckBorn in the California Mountains on the shores of Tahoe, the bigtruck brand was forged in a community that prioritizes active fun. Their mission is to promote the stoke through creative and function focused lifestyle products. Specializing in hand-cut, hand sewn headwear out of Northern Ca, bigtruck provides variety; allowing our customers to choose and celebrate their own style. BigTruck Brand has pledged to donate $0.05 from the sale of every hat online to the High Fives Foundation.

Thus far in 2014, bigtruck brand has donated $62.00 from their hat sales. Thank you bigtruck brand!

WarrenPIecesTucked away at the edge of the Freeman Brook and Flat Iron Road in historic Warren Village, Vermont, an incredible new business has been born. Stacked outside the otherwise innocuous two bay garage converted into an open studio are thick slabs of hardwoods divine. The side room is full of wood samples including a palette of mahogany shipped by Gibson for guitar neck experimentation. Welcome to Warren Pieces, where hand made custom hardwood longboards are beautifully crafted and scraps of wood get a second chance. Warren Pieces has pledged to donate $5.00 from every board sold during 2014 to the High Fives Foundation.

Thus far in 2014, Warren Pieces is still in the initial launch phase of initiating the Five for Fives program. Thank you Warren Pieces!

A US Manufacturer that focuses on face-gear, Phunkshun Wear combines technical applications, top quality fabrics milled in the USA, and a seemingly endless amount of graphic options in their production. Their focus is on making a product that not only performs exceptionally well in winter weather, but also looks great and lasts. Phunkshun Wear has pledged to donate $0.05 every mask sold during the 2014 year to the High Fives Foundation.

Thus far in 2014, Phunkshun Wear has donated $750.00 from their face masks sales.Thank you Phunkshun Wear!

Tahoe-Trail-Bar-logo1The Tahoe Trail Bar has been fueling the journey for people who enjoy the outdoors in the Lake Tahoe Basin for 8 years. Because of its great taste, healthy all-natural ingredients and consistent quality, Tahoe Trail Bars are now distributed not only around the Lake Tahoe Basin but also throughout the United States. They donate $0.05 for every bar sold during promotional events.

Thus far in 2014, Tahoe Trail Bar is still in the initial launch phase of initiating the Five for Fives program. Thank you!

Named after the scenic California highway that winds it’s way down the gorgeous west shore of Lake Tahoe, CA89 is a Truckee-based apparel and lifestyle company selling t-shirts, sweatshirts, fleece, leggings, hats, and accessories. They donate $5.00 for every sale of co-branded California 89 and High Fives Foundation T-shirts.

Thus far in 2014, California 89 has donated $95.00 from their co-branded t-shirt sales. Thank you California 89!
