Jonny Klemchuk | Clifton Park, NY

Minister of Stoke | Ski Enthusiast

Jonny was born in Providence, RI, and his father made the mistake of taking him to his first mountain at the ripe age of three. Growing up, he would relish trips, during the school year, to return with a goggle tan and the required sick note. Since then, he has competed at a few stops on both the Subaru Freeride and Freeskiing World Tours. After that, Jonny took to traveling the known skiing world in search of great snow and even better friends. Since hearing Roy’s story, Jonny has taken the mission of the High Fives Foundation to heart because a life-altering injury can happen to anyone at any time. Coupled with what the BASICS series aims to teach, Jonny is excited to educate the next group of skiers and riders and help them make better choices in the mountains.

Caro Krissman | Los Angeles, CA

Entrepreneur | Former CEO at Outdoor Tech

Growing up as a devoted skier in Southern California, the idea of being IN the ski industry was always an open checkbox. In 2009 Caro launched Outdoor Tech at the last SIA in Las Vegas, and got hooked. As an outsider coming to the party for the first time, he was welcomed as if he was part of the tribe. As Outdoor Tech’s reach in the snow world grew and his interaction in the helmet/protective equipment space heightened, becoming involved with an organization that was giving back to the industry that opened its arms to him became more important, Roy and High Fives filled that spot. Ever impressed by the hard work and professionalism with which Roy and his team conducted themselves, when Caro exited Outdoor Tech he immediately asked Roy for a seat at the table to help the mission.
