High Fives Foundation at the 11th Annual Kurt Caselli Ride Day
The High Fives Foundation had the privilege of participating in the 11th Annual Kurt Caselli Ride Day on Saturday, December 7, an event honoring the legendary off-road rider Kurt Caselli. As part of the event, High Fives organized an Adaptive Moto Camp, a two-day experience that brought ten athletes together to ride and connect with the off-road community.
Day One: Building Confidence
The first day of the camp focused on helping participants get comfortable on dirt bikes. Lawrence Green, one of the camp organizers, reflected on the experience:
“It was a blast. We set up and got everyone on a dirt bike. We started on the mini track, designed for pit bikes and smaller-scale riding, to help everyone get a feel for it. Once they felt comfortable, we moved to the veteran track, where they rode big berms and rolled over jumps. Seeing the athletes gain confidence was incredible.”
Day Two: Showcasing Adaptive Bikes
On the second day, the athletes took the opportunity to showcase their adaptive bikes in front of the event spectators. The crowd’s enthusiasm and support created an uplifting environment for everyone involved.

Community Highlights
The camp coincided with the broader Ride Day activities, including the thrilling Team Challenge Race, which paired pro and amateur riders for a relay. Lawrence described the excitement of watching the race:
“The Team Challenge Race was so fun to watch. The collaboration between pro and amateur riders highlighted the community spirit of the event. Watching them pass their too too skirts during the lap added to the excitement.”

A Memorable Experience
The Adaptive Moto Camp brought together ten athletes who embraced the challenges and joys of dirt biking. Over two days, they shared their journey with the off-road community, reinforcing the event’s message of inclusivity and camaraderie.
The High Fives Foundation is grateful to have been part of this incredible event, which celebrated Kurt Caselli’s legacy while promoting safety, connection, and adventure. Together, the community carried forward his enduring impact on the sport.
