14th Annual Green Mountain Shred-A-Thon Recap

A Celebration of Community and Impact

The 14th Annual Green Mountain Shred-A-Thon was a true testament to the power of community and the collective strength we possess when we come together for a greater cause. This year’s event was nothing short of incredible, embodying the spirit of Ohana—bringing together individuals, families, friends, and partners to celebrate the impact of the High Fives Foundation on the snow sports community and those who have sustained life-changing injuries.

What started as a grassroots effort to grow the High Fives presence in the hometown and home mountain of our founder has now become our largest and most impactful fundraiser. The Shred-A-Thon consistently surpasses fundraising goals, but beyond the dollars raised, it serves as a joyous culmination of the season—a final community ski day and a grand celebration for our athletes after a week of skiing together. The event is all about celebrating their achievements and filling the slopes with energy, excitement, and stoke across all modalities. See the full photo album here.

Despite a cold and windy day, the vibes were high, and the slopes were buzzing with positivity. There was never a lift line in sight as participants lapped the mountain with their closest friends and “framily.” With 20 adaptive athletes making their mark on the groomers, the event was a true showcase of perseverance, skill, and camaraderie. From expert turns to high-fives at the bottom of each run, the day was filled with unforgettable moments.

The Shred-A-Thon wouldn’t be the same without the incredible support of our brand partners who help make this event bigger and better every year. This year, we were thrilled to have strong brand presence from Darn Tough Vermont, Burton, Stöckli, Ski The East, Culture Pop Soda, Parlor Skis, Best Day Brewing, Love, Tito’s, Vermont North and Monster Energy, all of whom contributed to the vibrant atmosphere and success of the event.

And of course, the spirit of the event was on full display through the creativity and enthusiasm of participants who showed up in amazing costumes, all dressed up for the cause. The energy was contagious, the stoke was undeniable, and the impact was immeasurable.

We could not pull off this event without the dedication and passion of our community. If you participated, donated, or supported in any way, know that YOU are the reason this event exceeds expectations year after year. Thank you for being a part of something bigger, for showing up, and for making a difference in the lives of adaptive athletes. View the fundraiser HERE.

We can’t wait to see you back in 2026 for the 15th Annual Green Mountain Shred-A-Thon—let’s make it the biggest and best one yet!
