On September 18th, 2025, the High Fives Foundation brought the Mile High Classic Charity Golf Tournament to a new course…Golf at River Valley Ranch in Carbondale, Colorado. This marked our first year hosting in the Roaring Fork Valley.
With 36 teams, 10 High Fives Athletes, and an incredible turnout from locals and supporters, the Mile High Classic didn’t just meet expectations, it set new records.
As Tim Burr put it:
“This was the first year in the Roaring Fork Valley, so there was a high expectation or hope that the local community would show up to this event even though it was the first time and that totally happened. The local community really showed up and came in full force to participate, and it broke records in Colorado for High Fives fundraising and participants.”
The day was filled with camaraderie, community spirit, and plenty of fun on the greens. From tee-offs to the final putt, it was a celebration of resilience, positivity, and the power of community coming together to support adaptive athletes.
We can’t wait to build on this momentum and return to the Roaring Fork Valley next year. Thank you to every golfer, athlete, sponsor, and volunteer who made this first Mile High Classic an unforgettable success!
