Stowe Mono Ski Camp 2025

The mountains were alive with possibility on January 12th and 13th, 2025, as a remarkable collective of adaptive athletes and coaches came together for the annual Stowe Mono Ski Camp.

The camp represented a powerful partnership between the High Fives Foundation, Kelly Brush Foundation, and Green Mountain Adaptive Sports, all dedicated to expanding access and opportunity for adaptive athletes. Their shared mission created an environment of growth, connection, and unforgettable experiences.

Jesse Murphy from High Fives captured the spirit perfectly…

“The highlight was seeing three incredible organizations come together to create more opportunities for adaptive athletes on the mountain. Huge thanks to Stowe Mountain Resort for making this weekend possible.”

With over 70 attending, the energy on the slopes was electric. Saturday saw 28 mono skiers carving through fresh snow, while Sunday brought 14 more adaptive athletes eager to build skills and confidence. Legendary skier and four-time Paralympian Chris Young led the clinic, inspiring all with his expertise and passion.

The camp also served as a vital networking event, fostering deeper partnerships. Nick Fairall, a former Olympian, connected with DynAccess to share valuable insights on monoski shock adjustments, contributing to the continuous improvement of adaptive equipment.

The Stowe Mono Ski Camp is a testament to what’s possible when passion meets opportunity. Each athlete, coach, and partner organization contributed to an unforgettable experience that pushed boundaries and reinforced the belief that the mountains belong to everyone.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Stowe Mountain Resort, Green Mountain Adaptive Sports, the Kelly Brush Foundation, and all the volunteers and coaches who made this event possible.

Here’s to more turns, more triumphs, and more opportunities to rise together!
