What started as a shared love for skiing over two decades ago has turned into something much bigger, a collaboration that blends innovation, style, and purpose. J Skis is dropping a very special Limited Edition “Adapt & Destroy” ski inspired by a story that began 25 years ago between J Skis founder Jason Levinthal and High Fives Foundation founder Roy Tuscany.

The team at Party Shirt International took it one step further, creating a matching limited-edition shirt that brings the ski’s energy to life off the mountain.

Back in the early 2000s, Roy Tuscany was a rising East Coast skier known for sending massive jumps and pushing the boundaries of what was possible. He and Jason often crossed paths at local events, both driven by the same passion for creativity and progression in the sport.

That all changed in 2006, when Roy overshot a 100-foot jump at Mammoth Mountain, traveling 130 feet and fracturing his T-12 vertebrae. The impact left him paralyzed from the waist down.

But Roy didn’t stop skiing and Roy’s recovery journey sparked a mission bigger than himself. His experience led to the creation of High Fives Foundation.

THE COLLAB – J SKIS × HIGH FIVES × PARTY SHIRT INTERNATIONAL

This collaboration celebrates that same rebellious spirit. The “Adapt & Destroy” Masterblaster ski pays homage to the 1980s skate culture that shaped Roy’s mindset…blending grit, creativity, and bold design.

Only 200 pairs of skis and a limited run of shirts will be available, each one representing the courage to face challenges head-on and turn adversity into opportunity. A portion of proceeds from the “Adapt & Destroy” collaboration will directly support High Fives Foundation programs, helping more athletes like Roy get back to doing what they love.
