The 15th Annual Green Mountain Shred-A-Thon is back at Sugarbush Resort’s Mt. Ellen on March 8, bringing together skiers and riders of all abilities for a bell-to-bell celebration fueled by laps, grit, and Vermont spirit.
What began in 2011 as a small gathering of local Vermonters chasing turns has grown into one of High Fives Foundation’s most iconic community events, welcoming experts, first-timers, families, and adaptive athletes alike. Every lap skied helps support athletes and veterans recovering from life-changing injuries.
This is more than a ski day.
It’s a movement powered by community.
❄️ What Is the Green Mountain Shred?
The Green Mountain Shred is a Shred-A-Thon–style fundraiser, where participants collect pledges, ski or ride as many laps as possible, and compete in friendly challenges throughout the day.
From first chair to last call, the mountain is buzzing with:
- All-day laps
- Vendor village hangs
- On-snow challenges
- Costumes and friendly competition
- A full après-ski awards celebration
Helmets required. Stoke guaranteed.
🏔️ How to Participate
1. Create or Join a Team
Rally your friends, family, coworkers, or ski crew—or go solo and join the fun.
2. Gather Pledges
Participants must raise a minimum of $200 to qualify for the event.
Raise more → unlock more prizes.
3. Shred on Event Day
Track your laps, enjoy the festivities, and celebrate with the High Fives community at après.
