Anthony was injured on November 26th, 2021, at Gatorback Cycle Park in Gainesville, FL, during a motocross event. He took off from the starting gate but didn’t have the greatest start, placing him near the back of the pack as he rounded the first turn. Determined to fight his way towards the front, where he knew he belonged, Anthony accelerated down the straightaway, overtaking multiple riders. However, as he approached the next corner, he unexpectedly hit a soft patch of dirt, causing him to be thrown over the front of the bike. While his bike became lodged, Anthony continued to flip forward, ultimately landing with most of the impact on his upper back.
