Aaron was mountain biking with his aunt at the Proving Grounds Recreation Area in Dubuque, Iowa. After going off a small jump he fell off his bike and landed on his head, resulting in a SCI.

Cycling has always been so freeing for Aaron, it gives him a way to escape from his daily troubles and just enjoy life.
