Allie was on her daily mountain biking adventures with friends on a hot summer day. As they took their last lap, they encountered a fun little rock roll during their climb. Deciding to give it a try in the grass field, Allie went over teh roll but landed with the front wheel slightly to the left. The unexpected angle sent Allie flying ober the handlebars, resulting in a harsh landing on her neck, resulting in a C5-C6 spinal cord injury.
