Annijke was mountain biking at Angel Fire Bike Park in New Mexico. While riding her favorite trail at the resort, she hit a jump wonky and it launched her pretty high. She tried to quell her speed before the next feature, a step up, but wasn’t able to dump enough speed.   The next thing she knew, she was laying in the middle of the trail and had just experienced a burst fracture in her T-6.
