While cycling, Bill struck an illegally parked landscape trailer. The impact resulted burst fractures at T4/T5 with a slight offset/dislocation at C6/C7, leaving him paralyzed from the chest down with use of his arms and hands.

Bill’s recovery goal is to walk, as well as make his life easier on a day-to-day basis. Bill really wants to lessen the burden for his wife. He also wants to eventually become a motivational speaker to improve the life of others that have also suffered an SCI.

“YOU DON’T HAVE TO GO FAST, YOU JUST HAVE TO GO.”
