In 2018, Bryce was competing in Montana’s Big Sky State Games in Enduro mountain biking. It was his second run of the day when he went over his handlebars. Luckily, an off-duty nurse saw the accident happen and was able to jump into action and begin assessing his serious injury right away. This crash left Bryce with a C6-7 spinal cord injury.
“I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.”
