Corey was injured while diving into shallow water in the Gulf of Mexico and had to be pulled out by a friend. For over 20 years, he has been on his recovery journey but only discovered adaptive sports in the past two years. Now, he splits his time between playing on sports teams and participating in individual sporting events, while also encouraging others new to the SCI community to join him.
