Eric Zerrenner
On January 8, 2015 Eric Zerrenner was skiing at Alpine Meadows with two friends from work. While skiing down Wolverine Bowl, Eric went to pre-jump a roller, which dropped off to complete flats. Ericlanded extremely hard on his chest, and when he awoke, he found his helmet in pieces scattered next to him. Eric was rushed to Renown Medical Center in Reno, NV where doctors told him that he burst fractured his L1 vertebrae causing paralysis from the waist down.
Eric’s goal is to get back to enjoying life the way it was before his accident. This includes playing with his kids, enjoying Tahoe, skiing, biking, surfing and SUP. Eric wants continue to be the best husband, father and Tahoe community member that he can better.
