Michael suffered a T7 spinal cord injury in a 2006 car accident. His friend was driving on a back road, hit a dip and the car was projected in a ditch. The car rolled a few times, and when it came to a stop, Michael realized that he didn’t have the use of his legs.

Michael is a current college student, and excels in wheelchair basketball. He applied for wheels that will make him faster and more agile on the court.

Michael has recovery goals as well, but being injured for 12 years now, many of his goals revolve around sports and recreation. Michael wants to eventually play wheelchair for team USA!
