Nick Harris
In June of 2014, Nick was at a lake near his hometown of Sonora, CA, swimming with some friends. He dove into the water the same way he had a million times in the past, however, due to the ongoing drought. The lake had been slowly dropping and when he hit the water this time, he dove straight into a shallow sand bar that was just a few feet below the surface.
