Sam Scribner
Sam was injured in 2016 after falling from a hammock while preparing for a bonfire with friends. As he attempted to get out while swinging, he lost control and landed on his head. The fall resulted in a fracture to his C5 vertebra, leaving him paralyzed from the chest down.

“This grant is going to help me by allowing me to push my wheelchair through areas of which I currently cannot push through. With bigger tires and a front caster wheel that has a larger diameter I am able to push myself through trails so I get to experience more of the outdoors in my strengthening training.“
