Zachary Abblitt
Zac was surfing with friends during a short break when they noticed the kayak he used to surf got pulled out by a wave. They sprinted down the beach in an attempt to rescue it and Zac dove in the ocean. Misjudging the wave and overshooting his dive, he hit head first in less than 2 ft of water and was instantly paralyzed.
