Zachary was injured while riding an ATV on some backyard jumps. After riding for about an hour, he hit a small tabletop with too much speed, overshooting the landing. Unable to move out of the way in time, the ATV rolled on top of him, breaking his T12 vertebra, several ribs, and his collarbone.
