Hailing from the Midwest, Tyler spent his childhood chasing his two older brothers around Rockford, Illinois. He later transitioned to the University of Iowa, spent a semester as skipper of the Jungle Cruise in the Walt Disney World College Program, and then proceeded to graduate. Tyler’s first position after higher learning took him to the Rocky Mountains, however, a visit to the Tahoe area lured him to the Eastern Sierra. Mr. Lightcap then found himself enjoying a fruitful career at Wells Fargo Advisors and subsequently made Truckee his home. For the last seven years Tyler has been facilitating growth in the community of Truckee, CA.

A three-time Academic All-American at the University of New Hampshire, Ford’s relationship with High Fives dates back to 2009. He recently left his position at POC as managing director for North America. Ford has served as director of outdoor for Bite Tech, Inc., the official protective mouthwear licensee of Under Armour. He joined Bite Tech following a stint as account executive with the MicroArts Creative Agency. Ford has served as a board member with the Shane McConkey Foundation since its 2010 inception.

LATER HE WORKED HIS WAY INTO A PART-TIME POSITION, OVERSEEING THANK-YOU SHIPMENTS AND OFFICE WORK. BEFORE LONG, HE SOLIDIFIED A PERMANENT ROLE IN THE ORGANIZATION, LEADING GRANT WRITING AND PR EFFORTS. HIS SKILLS WORKING WITH THE FOUNDATION HAVE EVOLVED INTO A CAREER AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEVADA, RENO WHERE HE CURRENTLY WORKS AND TEACHES AS A MULTIMEDIA SPECIALIST. Chris Nicholas | Reno, NV

Chris Nicholas was born in Fort Worth, Texas. He currently serves Renown Health as the Sr. Administrator of Rehab Services and has been the driving force in the development of the neuro-rehabilitation programs that include traumatic spinal cord injury and brain injury. Over the last 3 years, Renown Health and High Fives have partnered to create a peer mentoring program aimed to help new spinal cord injury patients through their journey of recovery and beyond.  During his first year in college, him and a group of friends made the 28 hour drive from Texas to Tahoe to go snowboarding. This trip turned into a twice a year trip for the group back to Lake Tahoe. So when the call came from his employer to move to Reno, it was an automatic YES. Since then Chris and his wife Denise have made Reno/Tahoe their home. If there is snow on the ground, you can almost guarantee Chris is on a board somewhere in Tahoe. During the summers, he and his wife enjoy kayaking, mountain biking, and hiking.

Matt Francis | Reno, NV

In the areas of intellectual property litigation, prosecution, licensing and entertainment law, Matt Francis vigorously protects and defends valuable intellectual property rights. Matt litigates trademark, unfair competition, patent, copyright, and trade secret actions in courts throughout Nevada, and has litigated in numerous other jurisdictions as well. Matt has prosecuted hundreds of trademarks at the federal and state level, and has participated in many opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). He also assists clients in obtaining foreign trademark registrations, and handles trademark portfolios for large institutional clients. Matt has years of experience negotiating complex trademark, patent, and copyright licenses and entertainment contracts on behalf of musicians, authors, photographers and other artists. He has also assisted clients in numerous commercial disputes and contractual negotiations. Prior to joining Brownstein, Matt was a partner at Watson Rounds, a firm Brownstein acquired on September 1, 2015.

Additionally he served over 14 years in Public accounting  – the last 4 serving the Financial service Industry as a Partner. Currently he Invests in small start-up Companies in the Financial Technology Sector. Occasionally he will take a position at one of theses companies. Currently he serves as the CEO of Ethos lending LLC – A wholesale Residential  Mortgage lender. He enjoys the outdoors and loves skiing in Tahoe with his family.

Bill Hudson | Olympic Valley, CA

Director Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows Ski Teams

Bill Hudson was raised in Squaw Valley, California. An eight year U.S. Ski Team member, national combined champion, x-games silver medalist, and 1988 Olympic Team Member, skiing is in his blood, as his mother (Sally) was also an Olympian (Oslo, 1952). Hudson graduated from North Tahoe High School and attended Dartmouth College. He qualified for the U.S. Ski Team his freshman year and ultimately graduated from the University of Utah. He worked in the ski industry from 1995 through present. Former Executive Director of the Sugar Bowl Ski Team and Academy, he currently is the Director of the Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows Ski Teams. Bill is a current and former board member of a number of local non-profits, including: Excellence in Education Foundation (former President), Tahoe Forest Hospital Leadership Council, Far West Ski Association, Squaw Valley Ski Museum Advisory Board, elected trustee of the Squaw Valley Public Service District, and a founding board member of the High Fives Foundation. Bill lives in Squaw Valley with his wife Kathrin and children Sophia, Bodie, and McCoy.

Brady Dolan | Reno, NV

Brady Dolan was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. He graduated from Reno High School, and then continued on to UCLA where he played Bruins baseball while earning a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Next, he was off to complete his post-graduate training with the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Dealer Candidate Academy in McLean, Va. Upon completion of NADA University, Brady went on to the General Manger Enrollment Program with Toyota Motor Sales. After all of his hard work and schooling Brady returned to his roots in Nevada and officially took on the role of General Manager of Dolan Toyota and Dolan Auto Group in 2012. Over the years, Brady has lead the team at Dolan Toyota and Dolan Auto Group as a whole to reach many milestones including but not limited to; * Earning the Toyota President’s Dealer Award time and time again. * Selling over 4,500 vehicles at Toyota and over 7,000 within the whole of Dolan Auto Group in 2013. This was a milestone that Brady has continued to grow year over year. * Dolan Toyota, alone, selling close to 600 cars each month. * Overseeing and developing Dolan Auto Group’s Training Program. * Dolan Auto Group growing to 450 plus employees. * Dolan Auto Group being named one of the Best Places to Work in our region three years running. * Helping to form Dolan Cares which is an internal program designed to help employees in need. * Reaching The Toyota Board of Governors List at the beginning of 2018 and 2019. * Implementing integrity coaching for high level managers called “Investing in the Future”.

Currently, Brady serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Dolan Auto Group. By great leadership and hard work he is highly esteemed by both employees and executives alike! Brady enjoys giving back to the community and helping our youth alongside his brother, Ryan, with the Dolan Class Project and Dolan School Upgrade Contest. Andrew Cross | Truckee, CA

In 2007, Andrew began his journey towards presidency through a management development program that required he obtain an MBA degree and work side-by-side with each employee at Truckee-Tahoe Lumber Company in order to fully understand their role and importance in the company. In 2009, Andrew became General Manager of the lumberyard. Shortly after, in December of 2011 and May 2012, he became President and CEO of the company and completed his MBA at the University of Nevada, Reno. Prior to his tenure at Truckee-Tahoe Lumber Co., Andrew obtained a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Davis. His time at Davis was split between academics and playing on the school’s Rugby team. Shortly after, he spent four years working for a civil engineering firm in Reno before committing his career to Truckee-Tahoe Lumber Company. As a Truckee native, Andrew is invested in the community and passionate about his involvement in it. He dedicates much of his time to the Rotary Club of Truckee, the Contractors Association and Truckee-Tahoe, the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe, and various other community groups and programs.

DAN WORKED HIS WAY UP TO BUYER/MANAGER AND ULTIMATELY MOVED ONTO BEING A SALES REPRESENTATIVE FOR ROSSIGNOL SKI COMPANY. AFTER ABOUT 12 YEARS OF SELLING CONSUMER SNOW PRODUCTS, DAN MADE THE MOVE OVER TO MARKETING WHERE HE HAS BEEN AN INNOVATOR ON BRAND PARTNERSHIPS IN RESORT MARKETING. DAN HAS BEEN A STRONG SUPPORTER OF THE HIGH FIVES FOUNDATION FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS WITH FUND RAISING, EVENT ACTIVATIONS AND SOCIAL MEDIA COLLABORATION.

Andy Wirth is an experienced executive leader with proficiency in all aspects of building high performance organizations and leadership teams for and within operating companies. Mr. Wirth has decades of executive experience at the strategic level with complex and comprehensive business development, business turn arounds, restructuring and mergers and acquisitions, including working within and on behalf of private equity and with strategic level development projects. His experience includes executive level responsibility for multiple operating companies functioning within risk intense environments, including his most recent post as President & Chief Executive Officer of Squaw Valley Ski Holdings, the parent company of Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows Resorts. In 2017 he helped build The Alterra Mountain Company, with market capitalization of approx. $6.5b. His experience also includes all facets of political/legislative action within federal government including US House of Representatives and US Senate and various regulatory divisions, including the US Customs & Border Patrol, US Homeland Security and Federal Aviation Administration. Wirth retired from his position as CEO & President at Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows/KSL Capital Partners and resides in San Juan Capistrano, California with his wife, Kristin and their daughter Kaia. Mr. Wirth attended the Colorado State University, University of Edinburgh and has attended a Stanford University Executive Education programs. He is currently enrolled in the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business MBA program.
