2019 CR Johnson Memorial Lion Heart Art Show

February 8 @ 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

On Friday, February 8th Riverside Studios in downtown Truckee will host the 8th Annual CR Johnson Memorial Lion Heart Art Show – an art fundraiser for the CR Johnson Healing Center. Made possible by Riverside Studios, Truckee-Tahoe Lumber Co, Town of Truckee, Truckee Chamber of Commerce, Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation.

The show will feature local artists using 12”x12” panels of wood to create masterpieces in any medium. ***New this year, we have added 15 skis (4’X6″) cut out of wood. If you would like to participate please email steve@highfivesfoundation.com.

Each piece will be available for purchase for $100.00 per panel or $200 per ski on a first come first serve basis. Following the art show, panels will be hung on the wall of Riverside studios for the remainder of February.

Proceeds from panels sold will benefit the CR Johnson Healing Center – a program service of the High Fives Foundation that provides resources for athletes in recovery from sport related injuries. Resources include: physical therapy, Pilates, massage, personal training and more.

“The Lion Heart Art Show is one of our favorite events of the year,” said Kahlil Johnson, Co-Owner of Riverside Studios in downtown Truckee. “It is such a great and fun way to gather the Truckee-Tahoe Community to celebrate amazing art, while raising money for a cause that is near and dear to all of us– the CR Johnson Healing Center.”
