VIRTUAL 5th Annual Retro Shred-a-Thon

As everyone has been impacted by COVID-19, we want to provide you with an update on our course of action regarding the Retro Shred Event. The health and safety of our athletes, staff, and supporters will always be our top priority.
Ski-a-Thons are the largest form of fundraising for High Fives Non-Profit Foundation. The money raised during these crucial events is vitally important to helping #highfivesathletes and Veterans all-year-long through its Empowerment Fund.

After canceling the on-mountain component of RETRO SHRED due to COVID-19, High Fives Foundation, Copper Mountain, and Phunkshun Wear adjusted the event to solely become a “virtual” fundraiser, allowing participants to raise awareness and funds for High Fives’ programs and services and to win prizes for doing so. Prizes and incentives will be shipped to the winners.
What is a Virtual Fundraiser?
Prior to the event, participants reach out amongst their own networks for donations that can be made through their Retro Shred Fundraising Page. The participants are gifted incentives for reaching monetary goals and also awarded prizes based on how much they raise by 3pm MST on Sunday, April 19th.
