6th Annual Mothership Classic
March 29, 2020 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Please join us for a day of retro-shredding to benefit athletes and veterans with life-changing injuries!
On Sunday, March 29, 2020, Tahoe’s own lifestyle brand, Arcade Belts, will host the 6th Annual Mothership Classic to benefit the High Fives Foundation. Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows will co-host this ski-a-thon on the infamous chairlift, KT22, also known as “The Mothership”.
The concept is a first-to-last-chair “fun”draiser where skiers and boarders spend the day lapping KT22 as many times as possible with friends, while wearing throwback gear like one-piece snowsuits, retro accessories, and straight skis or old-school boards. Prior to the event, participants reach out amongst their own networks for pledges and donations to support the High Five Foundation and their program services like the CR Johnson Healing Center.
The prize categories are
“Most Laps by a Skier (Men/Women)”
Most Laps by a Snowboarder (Men/Women)”
“Most Laps by an Adaptive Athlete”
“Most $ Raised by a Team”
“Most $ Raised by an Individual”
“Best Costume”
SNOCRU is the official tracking app of the Mothership Classic.
