Northwestern Ski Team Charity Fundraiser
May 26, 2018 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
THE NORTHWESTERN SKI TEAM presents the 8th annual Volley Ballin’ for Charity in support of the High Fives Foundation!
This annual charity fundraiser is a favorite of students across campus come springtime. With the help of local sponsors, the Northwestern Ski Team is able to host this daylong event complete with live music, food, beach games, raffle prizes and a volleyball tournament. After starting this charity competition seven years ago, we have seen a drastic rise in attendance every year. Each year’s tournament brings with it an increase in Ski Team presence throughout campus culture. Last year, Volley Ballin’ for Charity had more than 200 participants and raised over $2,000 to benefit The High Fives Foundation. This year, the tournament will take place on Saturday, May 26th!
This event is made possible every year with the support of local and corporate business partners who provide prizes, food, or monetary support for the event. Attached to this document are a variety of opportunities for any size organization to support this amazing event while gaining publicity on our campus and in the Midwestern ski community.
A little bit about the team:
The NU Ski Team is comprised of 72 passionate skiers and boarders enrolled at Northwestern University. Our athletes represent a wide cross-section of the student body, spanning all 4 years and many different courses of study. The team was established in the early 1990s and has experienced steady growth and improvement ever since. In particular, the last few seasons have seen the team reach record numbers with an unparalleled level of passion and dedication, culminating in five consecutive years sending athletes to the Collegiate Nationals competition.
