Event Spotlight: Mark Wellman’s Adventure Day at Sparks Marina Park
People with disabilities and their friends and family are invited to explore summertime sports at Mark Wellman’s Adventure Day at the Sparks Marina Park on Sunday, June 10. The free event takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature hand-cycling, kayaking, sailing and adapted rock climbing in a safe, fun environment. The Note-Ables will sponsor a get up and move booth with fun activities.
All ages and abilities are encouraged to come out and try something new.Sunscreen andclose-toed shoes are required. Participantsmust have a guardian signedrelease form to take part.
