The 11th Annual Tahoe Charity Golf Tournament provided us with a challenging circumstance; we had more suitable weather for a Mothership Classic
Ski-A-Thon than we had for golf. Needless to say, we were all initially bummed by the unfortunate news that golf was canceled as snow covered the grass.

…But here at High Fives, we ADAPT and OVERCOME!

Once a change-of-plan was initiated, our supporters showed up with an optimistic attitude and understanding kindness. We spent the evening together enjoying putts instead of long drives, and we raised our glasses to Uncle Scott (in loving memory of Matthew Scott Roberds), connecting us with those he loved the most.

Ultimately, we had each other. A reminder of what really matters to this group.

You see, the grandeur of our lives doesn’t come from our immediate pleasures or wishes. True meaning grows in connection, community, and rolling with the punches.Thank you for being a supporter of High Fives, and for making these adaptations possible for years to come.
