High Five to the Next Decade
March 15–20, 2026 marked the 11th Annual Military to the Mountains (M2M) Camp, bringing 21 athletes together for a powerful week of progression, connection, and possibility on snow.

In partnership with Adaptive Training Foundation, Achieve Tahoe, and Reno Adaptive, this year’s camp was built on a foundation of commitment long before the first chairlift spun. Each athlete completed nine weeks of training, preparing both mentally and physically for a week at Palisades Tahoe.
For many, this experience wasn’t just about skiing. It was about rediscovering what’s possible.
Athlete Voices
The impact of Military to the Mountains is best told through the voices of those who live it:
“Thank you to everybody that makes stuff like this possible and thank you everybody for sharing and helping someone like me, you know, find a way to be better for the people I care about and love and give me more people to care about and love, love you guys.” — Ronnie Mondragon
“I’m just so blessed to be here honestly and I had so much fun skiing but really the best part about this stuff is coming to meet all the people that make this all happen and all the athletes that show up and really make it special and, yeah man, I mean, I’m just, I’m just blown away of all you guys.” — Curtis Rowe
“I’ll try not to cry, OK, I didn’t know it was possible, right? I grew up skiing when I was little. I was 3 when I learned how to ski, and then I got sick. I was in bed for years and I thought that I was gonna die there. Then I got invited here and I was able to do the workouts and able to really push through and I got to ride a monoski and I am just so glad that I could ski at least one more time in my life.” — Lauren Anderson
“Amazing camp. I’ve done things that I never thought I would do. Ever since ATF and high fives has come into my life, I’ve had a Beautiful new vigor for life. I am so thankful to each person that makes that possible for us.” — Brad Shelton
“Thank you for this different opportunity. I am grateful.” — Eva De Jesus
Built on Community
Military to the Mountains is made possible by a community that shows up, coaches, partners, mentors, and fellow athletes, each playing a role in building something bigger than themselves.
It’s not just about learning to ski or snowboard.
It’s about learning to trust your body again, to push limits, and to rediscover joy in movement.
Thank You for Your Service
To the 21 athletes who showed up, put in the work, and embraced every challenge—thank you. Your resilience continues to redefine what’s possible. And to every partner, donor, and supporter who makes this program possible—this impact belongs to you, too. Because of you, more individuals are finding their way back to the mountains… and forward into what’s next.
High Five to the next decade.
