Adaptive Surf Camp with High Fives Athletes!
August 5-9, 2012 the High Fives Foundation took a group Winter Empowerment Fund Athletes to San Clemente, CA to learn the sport of adaptive surfing at San Onofre State Park’s “Dog Patch” beach. Athletes Steve Wallace, Taylor Fiddyment, Landon McGauley, Danny Toumarkine and John Davis traveled with the Foundation and a media team to Southern California for their first ever Adaptive Surf Camp.
The High Fives Athletes are now at it again!
Four High Fives Athletes will be obliterating waves at the High Fives Adaptive Surf Trip this month! The surf trip takes place in Sea Girt, NJ at North Beach from August 25th through August 29th. The trip acts as both a training ground for our organizations Winter Empowerment Athletes, and also shows these same Athletes that there are accessible summer action sports that also provide the THRILL.
