3 Days of Surf, Community & Stoke at Steamer Lane

The 2026 Santa Cruz Paddlefest delivered three incredible days of competition, connection, and community on the California coast. Held at the iconic Steamer Lane, this world-renowned paddlesports event brought together athletes, volunteers, sponsors, and fans for one of the most anticipated gatherings in paddle surfing.

From high-energy kayak, SUP, and waveski surf competitions to the legendary ocean races off Cowell Beach, the event showcased the full spectrum of paddlesports. Athletes pushed their limits, built connections, and celebrated progression in and out of the water.

At its core, Paddlefest is about community. For over 35 years, it has remained a cornerstone event where newcomers and elite athletes alike come together to share the stoke and grow the sport.
