Soxxy unveils stylish compression sox at Women’s Health Expo last week in Stamford, CT
Soxxy CEO, Sarah Stabile introduces a new line of stylish compression sox to the health and wellness community at the Fairfield County Women’s Expo. The Expo is sponsored by Stamford Hospital, featuring products and services from apparel & fashion accessories to beauty, fitness, medical and nutrition. The largest event for women in Fairfield will be held at the Crowne Plaza in Stamford, April 25 – 26th.
“We’re thrilled to participate in the Fairfield County Women’s Health Expo,” said Stabile. “I grew up here, it’s a health conscious market with some of the top Doctors in the world. The community embraces compression, but has struggled to find high-quality, stylish compression sox offered in a variety of lengths and levels. Soxxy is filling the gap and making compression sox more accessible and acceptable to the masses.”
“Vascular Surgeons recommend compression socks to all of their patients,” said Dr. Marsel Huribal, MD, FACS and Senior Partner at the Vascular Experts. “In the past, patients often bought the wrong size or didn’t bother going to the medical supply store because it was inconvenient. By installing a vending machine in our waiting room, we’re taking the guess work out of the purchase process and ensuring our patients are in the right style, size and level of compression.”
