10th Annual Retro Shred-A-Thon Recap

10 Years of Throwback Shred & Forward Momentum

On April 19th, we laced up our boots, zipped up our neon, and took to the slopes at Winter Park Resort for the 10th Annual Retro Shred-A-Thon—and what a day it was.

This wasn’t just our biggest Retro Shred yet—it was our most impactful.

With 17 High Fives Athletes in attendance, this year’s event marked the largest athlete turnout in Retro Shred history. The mountain buzzed with energy as teams chased lap counts, rocked vintage gear, and raised funds for a cause that unites us all: supporting athletes in their comeback journeys after life-changing injuries.

Together, we raised over $87,000—the highest total ever in Retro Shred history. That number represents more than generosity—it represents real change. It’s a sit-ski for someone ready to get back on snow. It’s a plane ticket to an adaptive surf camp. It’s rehab, community, and possibility.

Because this event isn’t just about skiing in retro gear or throwing it back with funky fashion. It’s about community. It’s about standing beside those who’ve faced the unimaginable and saying, “We see you. We believe in your comeback.”

Thank you to every donor, skier, sponsor, and supporter who made this day what it was. Your impact fuels more than programs—it fuels hope.
