Fast Laps, Fierce Battles, and Good Vibes
The Sea Otter Classic delivered once again with perfect weather, a great crowd, and some of the best racing we’ve seen so far this season. From high-stakes competition to chill trail rides, it was a weekend to remember.

Dual Slalom Showdown
The Dual Slalom course brought the heat, and the crowd got their money’s worth in the finals. Sam and Jimi squared off in a nail-biting race for the last podium spot. It was back and forth the whole way—clean corners, close calls, and bar-to-bar action. In the end, Sam edged out the win by a sliver, locking in third place with a huge effort. Meanwhile, Matt was in the hunt for gold, throwing down one of his best laps of the weekend. He finished strong with a second-place spot on the podium—well deserved after a hard-fought battle.
Downhill Practice & Finals
Downhill practice sessions were dialed, with plenty of time to get in solid laps. The event did a fantastic job supporting adaptive athletes, letting them skip the line and have their coach follow for support. The inclusivity and stoke were real, and by finals time, everyone was ready to rip.
The track was running fast, and the competition was tight. Most athletes finished within just a few seconds of each other. Sam once again laid down a heater of a run, earning himself a third-place finish in a stacked field.
Saturday Trail Ride Vibes
Saturday morning gave us a breather from the race schedule. With an open block of time, we took the opportunity to hit the trails around Laguna Seca for a group ride. The rolling hills and coastal views made for an epic ride and a chance to connect more with the community. No timing chips, no pressure—just good people and great trails.

Wrapping It Up
From start to finish, Sea Otter was a huge success—stellar performances, great weather, and a community that keeps growing stronger. Whether on the podium or out on the trails, this weekend was a reminder of why we all ride.
