2019 Retro Shred-a-Thon
The 4th Annual Retro Shred-a-Thon took place over the weekend of April 21, 2019. 45 participants helped us close down Copper Mountain during Sunsation Weekend in the name of charity and over $26,000 was raised for injured outdoor athletes!
THE 4th ANNUAL RETRO SHRED-A-THON WAS PRESENTED BY COLORADO-BASED BRAND PHUNKSHUN WEAR ON COPPER MOUNTAIN RESORT’S INFAMOUS LIFT, AMERICAN EAGLE. PARTICIPANTS SPENT THE DAY SKIING WITH FRIENDS, WHILE RAISING FUNDS FOR THE HIGH FIVES FOUNDATION.
THE CONCEPT OF THE RETRO SHRED-A-THON IS PLAIN AND SIMPLE – HAVE FUN! PARTICIPANTS SKIED FUN LAPS DAWNING NEON ONE-PIECE SNOW SUITS, THROWBACK GOGGLES, STRAIGHT SKIS AND OTHER RETRO ATTIRE. SMILES, LAUGHTER AND HIGH FIVES WERE THE THEME FOR THE DAY.
Four local High Fives Athletes were in attendance including; Ezra McPhail, Trevor Kennison, Sally Francklyn and Jim Harris.
