Another year has flown by, and we were thrilled to be back at Northstar Mountain for our annual adaptive bike camp, all thanks to the generous EpicPromise grant! Everything lined up perfectly—there was ideal fall “dirt” conditions, the crew was ready, and the energy was high. Athletes, volunteers, staff, and friends of the High Fives Foundation arrived for 2 private days of adaptive biking on Northstar’s best trails. On September 18, our advanced riders tore up the trails, while September 25 saw our beginners taking on their own challenges. Over 17 athletes attended, pushing their limits and having an absolute blast.
This year’s camp was a full-on adventure. With black diamonds, jumps, and high speeds on the menu, athletes like Skye Chaney, Alex Duff, Eric Wang, Pierre Bergman, Ricci Kilgore, Jeff Andrews, Jimi Brenner, and many more showcased their skills on adaptive bikes.
