This season, three mountains on opposite sides of the country united for one purpose… fueling life-changing recoveries through snow, stoke, and community. The 2025 Shred-A-Thon season brought the energy, the costumes, and most importantly, the impact. Whether it was deep in the Rockies, on Vermont’s home turf, or under the iconic KT-22 chair at Palisades, every lap, high-five, and dollar raised helped rewrite someone’s comeback story.

14th Annual Green Mountain Shred-A-Thon
March 9 | Sugarbush Resort, VT
The East Coast showed up big for our biggest fundraiser of the year. The 14th Annual Green Mountain Shred-A-Thon brought together 20 adaptive athletes, a huge crew of supporters, and a storm of good vibes—despite cold temps and wind chills. What started as a grassroots event in our founder’s home state has become a powerful celebration of progress.
From creative costumes to fast laps with family, Sugarbush was alive with stoke. With longtime partners like Darn Tough, Burton, and Ski the East in full support, this day was a tribute to everything the High Fives community stands for…inclusion, perseverance, and impact.
Mothership Classic
March 23 | Palisades Tahoe, CA
The West Coast answered the call with the annual Mothership Classic. Hosted by High Fives and Arcade Belts, this retro-fueled lap-a-thon raised over $180,000, featured 9 adaptive athletes, and welcomed 149 in-person skiers to KT-22 for a bluebird day of purpose-filled shredding.
While costumes and creativity stole the show, it was the energy of the community that made this day legendary. From early morning coffee to midday pizza parties and sponsor activations, every detail was built to celebrate the athletes we serve and the supporters who make it all possible.
10th Annual Retro Shred-A-Thon

April 19 | Winter Park Resort, CO
Rounding out the season, the 10th Annual Retro Shred-A-Thon took it to the next level—literally. With a record-breaking 17 High Fives Athletes in attendance and $87,000 raised, Winter Park’s slopes turned into a celebration of comeback stories in neon.
This wasn’t just our biggest Retro Shred yet—it was our most impactful. The funds raised translate directly into adaptive equipment, therapy, and opportunity. And with so many athletes present, the mountain buzzed with proof that this community is stronger than ever.
