September 8–10 | Truckee, California
The High Fives Foundation proudly hosted the 2025 Truckee Fly Fish Camp, a three-day experience that brought together athletes, guides, and the natural beauty of the Sierra Nevada for an unforgettable adaptive fishing adventure.
This year’s camp included:
- 3 Days of Fishing
- 6 High Fives Athletes
- 6 Expert Guides
- Infinity Fish Caught
Athletes had the opportunity to cast their lines at some of Truckee’s most iconic fishing spots, including Everline Resort, Sawmill Lake, and the Truckee River. Each location offered unique challenges and rewards, from the tranquility of alpine lakes to the steady flow of the river, ensuring a variety of experiences across the three days.
“The camp featured fishing at locations in the area, including Everline Resort, Sawmill Lake, and the Truckee River.”
— Lawrence Green, Program Experience & Camp Coordinator

Beyond the fishing itself, the camp fostered community, confidence, and connection. Athletes shared stories on the banks, learned new techniques from seasoned guides, and embraced the calming rhythm of fly fishing in the mountains.

The Truckee Fly Fish Camp continues to be a highlight of our adaptive fishing programs, proving that the outdoors is for everyone. A huge High Five to our guides, volunteers, and supporters who made this camp possible — your dedication ensures athletes can keep discovering new passions and creating lasting memories on the water.
