2026 Green Mountain Shred Camp

Growth. Community. Transformation.

The 2026 Green Mountain Shred Camp brought together athletes, mentors, and community for an unforgettable few days in Vermont, blending progression on snow with purpose-driven fundraising.

Sugarbush’s Mt. Ellen set the stage for an incredible week—Day 1 and Day 2 of the athlete camp were filled with progression, connection, and time on snow, all leading into Day 3, which was celebrated alongside the Green Mountain Shred-A-Thon.

A Moment That Says It All

One athlete shared something that captured the heart of the entire camp:

“This is the first day I’ve felt alive since my injury.”

After living with a life-changing injury since 2022/2023, that moment wasn’t just about skiing, it was about rediscovering identity, confidence, and joy.

Full Circle Impact

The Green Mountain Shred-A-Thon brought 18 athletes together, not just to ride, but to give back.

Before the event even began, athletes had already raised over $20,000, showcasing the power of this community to support the next wave of athletes.

It’s a full circle moment:

  • Athletes who once received their first lesson
  • Now returning as independent riders
  • And stepping up as fundraisers and leaders

In the early days, this event supported just a single lesson. Today, it fuels a growing pipeline of athletes gaining independence on snow year after year.

What started as a small opportunity has evolved into a thriving, community-driven experience, where mentorship, progression, and purpose all come together.

From first turns to independent riding, from receiving support to giving it back, the Green Mountain Shred Camp and Shred-A-Thon continue to represent what High Fives Foundation is all about.

More than skiing. More than a fundraiser.
This is what growth looks like.
