That’s a Wrap!
The 1st of 4 Adaptive Monoski World Class Race Camps hosted by the US Olympic Committe, High Fives & Josh Dueck!
January 13th through January 15th the High Fives Foundation and the US Olympic Committee (USOC) hosted the first of four adaptive ski race camps scheduled for Winter 2016.
Head Coach, world renown monoskier, Josh Dueck, seven campers, the Spirit Mountain Race Department, and the High Fives Crew spent the week at Spirit Mountain in Duluth, MN learning, racing gates and having fun.
The camp focused on the fundamentals of monoskiing, proper technique in the racecourse and ski tuning. All costs of the camp were covered by the High Fives Foundation making this camp absolutely free for participants!
Two shining stars from the camp, chosen by Dueck, have been invited to the 2016 Paralympic Nationals at Loon Mountain, NH in March.
Stay tuned for the next USOC Race Camp in Warren, VT at Sugarbush Resort, Febuary 22nd – 25th.
Thank you, Josh Dueck, all the campers, and Spirit Mountain for making this camp a success!
