Announcing the 8th Annual High Fives Foundation Bocce Tournament

The High Fives Foundation is gearing up for the 8th Annual Bocce Tournament to be hosted at Truckee River Winery in Truckee, California. It is proudly presented by GoPro, Truckee River Winery, Guild Mortgage Company, & Cojo Bay Advisors

The event will be held Sunday, September 18 beginning at 10am. The cost to participate is $125 per two-person team. Space is limited to the first 40 teams to register.

“This tournament is always a late summer highlight for us at the winery,” says Katy Jones,Director of the Tasting Room at the Truckee River Winery. “We love the energy and enthusiasm of the teams. We love the
support it brings to High Fives Athletes.”

Following the 10 A.M. registration, teams will begin play on the six crushed oyster courts on the winery premise. In addition to door prizes, lunch from Fireside Pizza, teams will compete for prizing from local companies and national brands including GoPro.

Players will enjoy silent auction items plus beer specials from Auburn Ale House and wine specials from Truckee River Winery.

“It’s amazing that it has been eight years of bocce. This is a really fun and unique way to show support for High Fives Athletes,” said Roy Tuscany, Executive Director of the High Fives Foundation. “There’s so much to give away at this event that everyone is a winner — but there is only one Bocce Champion.”
