Skiing with her daughter at Bogus Basin, it was their first run of the day. Shannon and her daughter were ripping it down a black diamond groomer, when they must have hit a lip or bump sending them flying and rolling down the run. Shannon’s daughter rushed over with her broken wrist from the crash to find Shannon unconscious and covered in blood. Shannon was life flighted to Boise, not remembering the next 3 weeks due to the brain injury, she also suffered a T6 spinal cord injury and broke both shoulders.
