Casey sustained an L1 burst fracture while mountain biking in South Lake Tahoe after under-rotating a backflip. Despite doctors giving him little chance of walking again, he remained determined and underwent emergency surgery, followed by weeks of rehabilitation. With the support of medical staff, loved ones, and High Fives, he views his injury as a transformative experience that reinforced his belief that anything is possible.
