Sebastian Yaghoubi
At 22 years old, while pursuing aviation and EMT certifications, Sebastian was involved in a life-changing motorcycle accident. Shortly after a routine service, the brakes on his sportbike failed as they approached a corner, causing him to lose control and collide with a guardrail before being thrown about 20 feet and sliding headfirst into a parked car. Trapped beneath the vehicle, Sebastian was rescued by a passing cyclist who called emergency services. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors confirmed a spinal cord injury that would forever alter his life.
