Tanner LaMagna
Tanner was injured during a BMX race in July when he went over his handlbars and landed headfirst in the dirt. The crash resulted in a serious spinal cord injury that changed his life in an instant. Since the accident, Tanner has been dedicated to therapy and recovery while continuing to find new ways to stay active and connected to the sports and outdoor lifestyle he loves

“This grant will positively influence my recovery by giving me more independence and protecting my strength. A properly fitted manual wheelchair with power assist wheels will help me move more efficiently without overusing my shoulders and arms, so I can save energy for therapy and getting stronger.“
