Josh Bogle
Josh was injured in early 2002 or 2003 while competing in a big-mountain free-ride competition, sustaining injuries to his L4 and L5 vertebrae. After several years of opioid addiction, he developed an infection in his heart, including MRSA, which required two open-heart surgeries. Complications from the infection ultimately led to the amputation of all four limbs.
“What's in your heart is stronger than what's in your way.”

“This grant will give me the opportunity to pursue an ambitious goal of surfing some of the biggest waves on the planet as a quadruple amputee. It will challenge me to push my limits, inspire others, and pursue a life-changing goal I never though possible.“
