Karen Atkinson
Karen was injured in a motor vehicle accident in 2014 that resulted in a spinal cord injury and loss of use of her legs. Through swimming, she regained some function in her legs, and adaptive sports have helped her make further progress. She remains unable to walk and continues to use a wheelchair full time.
